Southampton Partnership Service
The Southampton Children's and Adults Safeguarding Partnership (SCASP) brings together Southampton City Council, NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight (ICB) and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary to keep children, young people, and adults with care and support needs safe in Southampton. SCASP was formed in December 2024 by bringing together the Southampton Safeguarding Children Partnership (SSCP) and Southampton Safeguarding Adults Board (SSAB). Our local arrangements follow Working Together to Safeguard Children (2023) and the Care Act 2014. The Community Safety Partnership (CSP) is a multi-agency group that works together to reduce crime, anti-social behaviour, and substance misuse, while improving community confidence and safety.
All of our training is free and practical, with hands on activities that help you apply learning in your role. It's designed for Hampshire based professionals and volunteers in positions of trust who work with children, families, or adults across our local system (e.g., education, health, social care, police, and any voluntary organisations).
We champion a person centred approach in adult safeguarding and multi-agency collaboration across all courses, so you can leave confident about what to notice, what to do, and how to work with partners.
