Cambridge4Ukraine

Cambridge4Ukraine is a community-led initiative supporting Ukrainians in Cambridge and Cambridgeshire, while fostering cultural exchange and strengthening ties with the local community.

We work with all generations:

Children and youth – through projects like YOUkraine Teens in Cambridge, a weekly club providing Ukrainian teenagers with a safe and supportive space for socialisation, development, and peer support, as well as activities for younger children to help them adapt and thrive.

Adults and families – through cultural, educational, and culinary events that encourage integration and celebrate diversity.

Our monthly fundraising lunches, Borshch Time, bring people of all ages together. These events introduce Ukrainian traditions and cuisine to the wider public, promote cultural exchange, and build friendships across communities. At the same time, they raise funds for humanitarian needs, in particular for Hospitallers Ukraine Aid, a registered UK charity, RCN 1200534.

These activities not only preserve Ukrainian traditions but also enrich cultural life in Cambridge, fostering mutual understanding and solidarity.

We are grateful that the Cambridge community values multiculturalism and recognises the importance of supporting people displaced by the war in Ukraine, caused by Russia’s aggression against a sovereign Ukraine.
