The Autism & ADHD Advocates
Welcome to The Autism & ADHD Advocates CIC
The Autism & ADHD Advocates CIC provides neurodiversity-affirming support, workshops, and psychoeducation for families, young people, professionals, and community organisations.
Founded by Sarah-Jane McGarry, a Neurodiversity Specialist with over 20 years of experience in Autism and ADHD research, support, and lived experience, our work focuses on helping people understand the “why” behind behaviour, emotions, sensory needs, and daily struggles.
Our sessions are designed to make complex topics easier to understand in real-life ways. We focus heavily on executive functioning, sensory processing, emotional regulation, behaviour, communication, and understanding how the brain interacts with the environment.
We support both diagnosed and undiagnosed individuals and work from a neurodiversity-affirming approach that promotes understanding rather than blame.
