The Centre for Media, Politics and Communication Research was established in September 2023 at the University of Nottingham by Dr Jen Birks from the Faculty of Arts and Dr Natalie Martin from the Faculty of Social Sciences.

It is an interdisciplinary hub for research on mediated and digital communication, with a particular focus on political communication, discourse, rhetoric and disinformation.
