Archaeology Scotland is the lead body for archaeology in Scotland, working for over 80 years to widen participation and make archaeology accessible to everyone. We support learning, wellbeing and employability by creating inclusive opportunities to get involved, build skills, and care for local heritage—working with communities and new audiences across the country. We deliver outreach activities; coordinate Scottish Archaeology Month; provide practical advice and support through to local archaeology interest groups and raise awareness of policy issues for Scotland’s archaeological heritage.
