ACES Postgraduate Research Training

These sessions are planned in reference to the Vitae Researcher Development Framework, with the aim of providing learning opportunities to develop your skills in areas ranging from ‘finding information’ and ‘personal effectiveness’ to understanding the university’s approach to research governance and also to help you think about ways of communicating your research, engaging others and the potential impact of your research.

Full details of the training provided can be found on our Blog site:

There is also a range of other development opportunities, via the Doctoral Training Research Series ran by the Doctoral School -

In addition to the training provided you will need to plan technical training, in discussion with your supervisors, and record your development needs using the RDF Planner (Researcher Development Framework).
