Amasu - Amanda Suzanne Evans
also known as Ama is a senior yoga teacher and therapist. She has over 35 years experience of teaching, originating in dance, body conditioning and yoga. Ama British Wheel of Yoga trained and registered is also a qualified aromatherapist and writer. She writes on yoga, spirituality and the quest for peace.

Ama’s background in dance is richly incorporated into her yoga classes, particularly with the flow of yoga and choreographed sequences making yoga with Ama, a seemingly effortless, moving meditation. Stronger classes will challenge you both physically and mentally, utilising balance and control. She places a lot of attention on alignment, safe practice and using the breath effectively. She has taught yoga, all around the world and lived in India for six months with two of her children teaching everyday with Brahmani Yoga.
As a yoga teacher, she brings aspects of her life’s creativity together with compassion and a desire to create a safe space for each and every individual. She is a seeker of knowledge and curious about the human existence within diverse cultures and global spirituality. Ama specialises in yoga for mental health and works to aligning and informing her teachings with psychologists, scientific research and clinical findings in yoga.
