Andy Kershaw

Andy Kershaw is a former BBC Journalist and Presenter with over 20 years experience of organising events and outreach activities. Andy worked for BBC Radio in Sheffield and York and has reported for BBC 5 Live and BBC Radio 4. Andy is a law graduate and a qualified adult education tutor and spent 17 years working in local government in Barnsley and Rotherham as a welfare rights officer, resource centre manager and community development manager. he is involved with several charities across South Yorkshire and is an experienced and professional event producer and host. He has produced a film about the rescue of Portland Works in 2013 by the Community benefit Society which now owns the works and written an accompanying book to the film. He is now producing the new lecture series for Portland Works (Little Sheffield) Ltd on a freelance basis on a commission from the Directors.
