I am proud and honoured to be a known voice on Mindfulness in South West London. Over the last five years I have dedicated my work to bringing this important life skill, which centres around using your breath as a tool for stress relief, to 4300+ children and adults. Having re-designed my life after ‘finding’ my breath, I am committed to teaching others to find theirs, so they can thrive.

While living as a single mother of three, I have invested my energy in championing mental health education and tools for everyone aged 8 to 80.

These same tools enabled me to transform the trauma of my separation into a force for my own happiness, as well as make social impact. By introducing children and adults to the power of Mindfulness as a support in everyday life, I aim to enable them to embrace plan B, when things fall apart, as they often do. Plan B is the life WE want to lead.

Five years after learning Mindfulness to cope with my divorce my mother's dementia has deepened and strengthened my Mindfulness, as it teaches me to patiently accept and sometimes even love, the powerless situation we are now in, let go of what was, and trust in what will be. Ironically this cruel illness that cuts people off from their lives, has helped me discover new levels of compassion and connectedness. What I know for sure is that there is life not after, but with, trauma, divorce and dementia.

Irrespective of the cards life serves us, we can find grace. And so I recently completed my first book; “Finding Grace: learning to Love yourself, Live in this moment and Lead the life you desire”

Finally, to kick start my journey towards half a century this year, I joined an Action Challenge team and climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in January 2020. This tested my mindfulness and resilience, and helped raise £3000 for the Alzheimer’s Society. This October I will run the Royal Parks Half Marathon again to grow outside my comfort zone and raise more funds.

Please join my on one of my webinars or courses so you too can learn simple skills to help you thrive.
