The Breastfeeding Education in Pregnancy Project was started by a group of Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) from the UK in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The cancellation of antenatal breastfeeding workshops could potentially have a really negative impact on breastfeeding rates and therefore infant and maternal health. The BEPP group are aiming to ensure that everyone has access to enough information to get their breastfeeding journey off to a good start as a minimum level.
