Big Joy Events

Just a couple of childhood besties who are passionate about finding big joy in the little things. Our job journeys have not been linear- we have an eclectic range of experience in events, hospitality, teaching and art but what we value most is creative expression in all it's forms. We know how often creative spaces can be intimidating, especially to first timers. There can be a pressure to be good at something before we've even begun. Which can definitely take the joy out of trying new things or creating for creating's sake. We appreciate the importance of expertise as well as the need for no-pressure practise spaces. Our Practise Makes events are designed to hold the balance between 'giving it a whirl' and 'traditional workshop'. We are super excited to facilitate inclusive spaces for connection, learning and creativity and we'd love for you to join us!
