Robin Lansman qualified at the British School of Osteopathy ( LONDON)  in 1988

Robin Lansman D.O. Osteopath Practice Principal

( Now University College of Osteopathy ) and opened the first of his Body Back-Up Clinic. He has worked in GP Surgeries as well as gym and sports club environments over the years as well as private practice.

He was Senior Tutor of Sports Injuries at the British School of Osteopathy for 10 years, treating sports injuries at both Recreational and Competitive levels and has been on hand to give practical help at several London Marathons supporting sponsored runners.

Robin Lansman writes regularly for the national and medical press, speaks on BBC Radio and lectures and teaches extensively throughout the UK and Europe.

Marelie Mey Registered and Naturopathic Osteopath.Marelie Mey M.Ost ND DO – Associate Osteopath

She gained her Master’s Degree in Osteopathy in from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine, London (2012).
She is registered with the General Osteopathic council. She has experience as a general Structural Osteopath also adults with injuries relating to sports, life-style, posture or work.
Her approach encompasses nutrition, exercise, posture, stress levels, ergonomics and your life-style.

Karen Phillips D.O. Senior Associate Karen Phillips D.O. – Senior Associate Osteopath

 Having been a professionally trained dancer studying at a London stage school under the likes of Arlene Phillips, she went on to work in France for several years as a Classical Ballet dancer.  She then trained as a Yoga teacher, which led on to her interest and training as an Osteopath at the British School of Osteopathy, graduating in 1986.

Karen is keen to encourage her patients to find an exercise regime that they will enjoy and complement their Osteopathic Care.

She treats all ages and has an interest in using Osteopathy’s gentler techniques such as Cranial Osteopathy when requested by her patients or when required.

Barney has been treating patients with a diverse range of conditions since 2013.  He graduated as a Bachelor of Osteopathy, with First-Class honours in 2017, coming first in his cohort.  Barney has won a series of osteopathic awards including the Rising Star Award from the Institute of Osteopathy in 2017.

With fifteen years of experience in the British Armed Forces, Barney maintains a high standard of physical fitness and enjoys taking part in a variety of sports.  As a result of his sporting activities, Barney has refused to be defeated by several repetitive strain and traumatic injuries, which have fed his thirst for knowledge about manual therapy and reconditioning to both recover himself and to prevent further injury.

Barney has significant experience in treating back and neck pain and, having recovered from his own injuries, Barney has become an expert in treating a wide range of sports injuries.Barney uses a variety of osteopathic manipulation techniques, medical acupuncture, joint articulation and soft tissue techniques.


We are fully trained primary health carers, trained to assess and treat a wide range of muscle and joint injuries in any part of your body – everything from backache, headache, neck and shoulder tension, to knee pains and sports injuries as well as so-called “trapped nerves” and “slipped discs”.
Our team of Osteopaths aims to offer a professional point of contact and a range of skills to help the individual tackle their particular condition.
