A lively modern British restaurant and live music venue with a magnificent whisky bar, dining terrace, oyster bar & grill and cigar library, overlooking the city skyline.
Boisdale of Canary Wharf offers one of the most exciting live music line-ups in the capital. Jools Holland, the legendary piano maestro and ex-Squeeze musician is the Boisdale Patron of Music. With the ability to seat up to 220 guests, a world-class sound and stage system and Jools Holland’s music guardianship, Boisdale of Canary Wharf has become one of London’s most inspirational music venues to open in decades.
The restaurant’s finest Aberdeenshire dry aged steaks (accompanied by devilishly indulgent sauces) are repeatedly deemed ‘incredible’, though the adventurous enjoy Scottish-sourced treats, including wild Highland game, Hebridean shellfish, Loch Ryan Native oysters, Dunkeld smoked salmon, and roast Macsween’s haggis served with mash, neeps and the obligatory noggin of malt whisky.
There is also a £11.95 weekly changing two-course set menu, an extensive bar menu not to forget a highly commended selection of outstanding gourmet burgers priced from £7.50.
An awning-covered heated cigar terrace with armchairs and sofas, supplied with tartan blankets, seats up to 42 guests whilst the members only area on the opposite side can accommodate 22.
A 16 square metre walk-in humidor (with members’ cigar lockers) contains one of London’s finest selections of Cuban cigars supplied by Hunters & Frankau as well as one of the UK’s best collections of vintage Cuban cigars provided by Mitch Orchant of C.Gars Ltd. Cigar shop customers are allowed to sample cigars indoors before making a purchase.
