The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is the nation’s heart charity, dedicated to saving lives. We rely on donations and fundraising events to continue with our work, here in Derbyshire, the East Midlands, and UK-wide.
February is Heart Month and we are asking everyone to take a stand against the UK’s single biggest killer. Throughout February we are asking people across the UK to hold a fundraising event, get involved in one, or encourage colleagues and friends to do something red to raise money.
The BHF is fighting for everybody who suffers with a heart problem – from babies born with heart defects, to the millions of adults affected by heart disease. We do this through life-saving research.
Help us ramp up our research for Zoe
Zoe was born with two holes in her heart. She was waiting for an operation when one night her mum, Susie, noticed she had turned grey. Terrified, she phoned for an ambulance, and Zoe was rushed to hospital for open-heart surgery. Years ago, Zoe might not have survived. But thanks to the advances we have made in research, she is now a happy, thriving toddler. With more support we can save more lives.
Please take part in our Charity Football Tournament on DATE at VENUE and help the BHF to save and improve the lives of people here in Derby, the East Midlands, and across the UK. Thank you for your support.
