Brixton Revival: Realised Revealed & Revisited is a creative collaboration originally conceived by Alvin Kofi (Kofi Arts) and Terry Humphrey (Trunkstore Arts) to celebrate the Black presence in Brixton.

Launched as part of the Brixton Design Trail and the London Design Festival in September 2016, Brixton Revival is an exciting multi media advertising campaign presented through a series of Pop-Up installation.

The campaign establishes live participation sites which serve to highlight Brixton’s eclectic Black businesses and the histories of the communities that thrive around them. .

Brixton Revival offers you a chance to revisit and reveal, the African-Caribbean presence in Brixton from the 1950s to the current day.  The campaigns maps the much-loved businesses in the area, old and new, surviving and thriving paying homage through visions of both past and present that help to sustain the social and cultural diversity of Brixton.
