BS6 Wildlife

BS6 wildlife is one of several postcode-based wildlife groups set up across Bristol, inspired by the My Wild Bedminster project. We aim to increase local biodiversity and raise people’s awareness of the wildlife around them.

The BS6 group is run by volunteers. Activities so far include an audit of the green spaces and the activities to support wildlife in them, newt surveys, bat surveys, encouraging participation in City Nature Challenge and other pollinator surveys, and the sharing of knowledge and wildlife sightings around Bristol. https://bristolwildlifegroups.wordpress.com/bs6-wildlife/
