Business West LSIP
Local Skills Improvement Plans (LSIPs) gather research into the skills needs of businesses.
They bring together employers, further education organisations, training providers and stakeholders, to set out the key priorities and changes needed in different geographical areas, to ensure post-16 technical education and training is better aligned to employer’s needs.
Business West Chambers of Commerce delivers the LSIPs for the West of England & North Somerset, Swindon & Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Somerset (in partnership with Somerset Chamber of Commerce), and as part of the research, hosts regular events to find out more about business skills needs, present findings and share knowledge from our partner experts.
