BuzzWorks is a volunteer charitable association that helps people discover and enjoy the world of bees and trains people in the craft of beekeeping. We have two sites: Buzzworks Discovery Centre in Old Hale Way in Hitchin and HoneyWorks Beekeeping Centre in Burford Way in Hitchin.

BAH has two distinct objectives: Firstly, educating the public on the importance of bees to the environment - which we deliver via BuzzWorks Discovery Centre - and Secondly, promoting the keeping of bees via HoneyWorks Beekeeping Training Centre.

Buzzworks Discovery Centre is designed to host visits from local schools, youth organisations and families and is open to the public on selected days between May and September.

HoneyWorks Beekeeping Centre is used for mentoring budding beekeepers, running taster days for those considering taking up beekeeping, and offering beekeeping experience sessions for people with a general interest.
