Cambrian Mountains Society
The Cambrian Mountains Society is a charity working to keep the unique and historic Cambrian Mountains of mid-Wales just as open, accessible and inspiring for future generations as they are today. Our current campaign is for designation of the uplands as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty: sign our Senedd petition here. We promote, for the benefit of local communities, and the wider public, measures to sustain or enhance the landscape, natural beauty, biodiversity, archaeology, scientific interest, and cultural heritage of the Cambrian Mountains; and to advance the education of the public in the landscape, natural beauty, biodiversity, archaeology, scientific nature, cultural heritage and geodiversity of the region. The Society also organises members’ events throughout the Cambrian Mountains area.
