Carolyne qualified from the RVC (with honours) in 2002 and since has worked in large equine practice, both in the UK and New Zealand.
Recognising that many of the challenges faced by today's veterinary surgeons are non-clinical, Carolyne was inspired to train as a performance coach and mentor. She now runs individual coaching programmes helping her fellow clinicians overcome the professional and personal challenges we each face on a daily basis.
Carolyne has also created workshops for pregnant vets, sharing tips and techniques to deal with the practicalities of working in practice whilst pregnant, as well as preparing to return to work. The workshops enable working mothers not only to have confidence in their decisions, but also the skills to make their lives as parents work alongside their careers as vets.
Carolyne is an accredited DISC trainer working exclusively in the veterinary sector. She uses this behavioural profiling tool to work with practices, creating effective and harmonious teams whilst improving motivation, productivity and profitability.
In each area of her work, Carolyne is passionate about helping vets understand themselves better, appreciate what is important to them and ensure that their lives and careers work for them.
