CB Mentoring
CB Mentoring is a community-led charity based in Cambridge, dedicated to empowering Black and minority ethnic young people through education, culture, and mentorship. We provide tailored support that helps children thrive both academically and socially, with a strong focus on identity, confidence, and connection to community.
Our core initiative is a Saturday School that offers academic tutoring, cultural enrichment, and opportunities for personal development. Beyond the classroom, we host a range of experiences—from museum visits and African drumming workshops to health and fitness sessions—all designed to inspire pride, purpose, and aspiration.
CB Mentoring is run by a passionate team of volunteers and mentors who reflect the communities we serve. We believe that when young people see what’s possible, they begin to believe in their own potential. Through our work, we aim to close opportunity gaps and foster a generation of confident, capable, and community-minded individuals.
