Charlotte Taylor Yoga

Charlotte is a yoga and mindfulness teacher based in South East London. As well as teaching workshops, private and corporate classes, she manages a hot yoga studio in Crystal Palace and runs her own weekly classes at The Sydenham Centre, 44A Sydenham Road SE26 5EZ on Thursdays 9.45-10.45am, Saturdays 11-12.15am, and Sundays 10-11am.


Charlotte was initially drawn to yoga by the challenge of the physical practice, but it was the therapeutic effects on the mind that kept her coming back. She teaches strong, flowing sequences to increase strength and flexibility and provides a safe platform for students to challenge themselves as much or as little as they wish. Her calm teaching style and gentle nature also lend themselves to the meditative practices of yin yoga and mindfulness - these provide a much needed balance to the flowing practices and invite students to do less.


"Finding balance is something I'm interested in because my natural tendency is to swing from one extreme to the other. All or nothing. I've accepted that this is all part of the process as balance cannot exist without imbalance. Nothing exists without its opposite. Join me for any of my Finding Balance workshops  where we'll practice dynamic yoga, yin yoga, mindfulness meditations and journaling exercises to explore what balance means for you."
