Climate Hub BANES

Climate Hub Bath & North East Somerset aims to engage with people across the local area to raise awareness of the climate and nature emergencies and empower people and communities to take positive actions in response.

We are currently doing this through physical ‘pop up hubs’ and social media via facebook, Instagram and X. Our goal is to expand our reach, with both a more permanent physical space, initially in Bath city centre, and through a credible online presence with the development of a creative, informative and accessible website.

We want the Climate Hub to be a space where everyone feels welcome, regardless of their age, background and current level of knowledge and engagement with these issues. People will be able to come and learn about climate change and the need to protect and restore nature, share their feelings and concerns and explore different ways of taking positive action including more sustainable ways of living.

Climate Hub works collaboratively with other local and environmental groups, sharing space in the physical pop ups and helping to promote their events and activities via social media, where these align with shared goals.
