Clive Johnson (Labyrinth Around America)

Labyrinth Around America is a an initiative to take a labyrinth around the United States, making stops in each state that marks the border of the mainland (i.e. those states that share a border with Canada or Mexico, or those which have a coastline). It is the personal initiative of English interfaith minister Clive Johnson. The project has no political, religious or commercial objective.

The idea is to ‘create a positive energy’ by the movement of the labyrinth in a circle around this great country, embracing both those who dwell within and along the path that the labyrinth takes, and those who come to walk, be with, or circle around the labyrinth as it makes its journey.

Walking a labyrinth is a popular tradition, following in the footsteps of many who have enjoyed this very simple form of meditation, reflection, or simply a quiet time for yourself, over many centuries, and in many different countries around the world. Nothing more is needed than to put one step in front of the other and follow a path that's printed on a large canvas mat. The canvas is wheelchair and stroller friendly.

Come along to a walk and enjoy a short time for private reflection, while adding your own energy to the traveling canvas! The event is free, and everyone is very welcome.
