Welcome to Coiste na nIarchimí’s original West Belfast bespoke walking tours, delivered by former political prisoners who share their personal experiences of the British/Irish conflict.

Coiste Irish Political Tours is committed to delivering professional quality tours. Coiste Irish Political Tours operates political tours, educational talks and programmes, and provides associated services to visitors, which advances education for the public regarding the historical and political context of the conflict in Ireland.

We also organise discussions with former political prisoners and former members of the British forces who served in Ireland. These discussions allow visitors to take part in unique interaction with primary sources of history - those who were active during our recent conflict. We have also developed a number of joint tourist initiatives with delivery partners from the tourism sector, including private sector tour operators, Crumlin Road Gaol, Derry Blue Badge Tour Guides and Áras Úi Chonghaile.
