The Computer Science Research Centre (CSRC) at the Royal College of Art is an industry-facing, design-led research hub founded and led by Dr Ali Asadipour in early 2020. CSRC explores cutting-edge areas such as immersive experiences, artificial intelligence, robotics, advanced multisensory visualisation, digital twins and close to real simulation. Bridging science, technology, engineering, and mathematics with art and design, the Centre fosters innovative, interdisciplinary research. CSRC is a pioneer in emerging fields including multisensory perception and cognition, smart and interactive technologies, and next-generation information systems—advancing the science behind how humans sense, learn, and respond.
