IN SHORT

I have been an educator for over 30 year. I am a methodologist who specialises in the 4Cs, CLIL and PBD methodologies, and the development of creativity during the learning process.

I am also a teacher trainer who supports and advises teachers how to integrate the 4Cs as part of their subject matter. I work in ERASMUS Plus teaching programs in Malta, Spain and in Hungary.

I am also an artist and illustrator in my spare time.

MY APPROACH

LEARNING CAN BE OODLES OF FUN!

Growing up I suffered my education greatly. It seemed to me that enjoying learning is a not a good thing. ‘The more you suffer, the more you learn’ was the message I received. When we laughed – even as small children – we were punished. ‘Learning is not laughing matter’ – I was told.

Probably as a result of my early painful experiences, I devoted my adult life, particularly as a teacher, to having fun and enjoying whatever it is that I am engaged in.

As a child I received numerous ‘inputs’ or ‘messages’ about how dreadful and difficult life is, and how little we can do about changing our circumstances. Then I read A man in search for meaning by Viktor Frankl. It changed everything. I realised that NOTHING I need to suffer. Monday mornings can be just as joyous as Friday nights.
