Run by Cultural Community Solutions (CCS) on behalf of the council, Croydon Libraries offer users a 21st Century experience, with free access to computers and WiFi alongside a , including a Wordwise collection of books for children who suffer from dyslexia, aarge print and talking books for visually impaired and many other items.
Croydon Libraries also offer a range of free online resources t from e-books and magazines to buisness information and The Driving Theory Test.
Each month Libraries have a fantastic line-up of events and activities for all age groups, such as craft activities for both adults and families, Rhymetimes for babies, author events, local history talks, mental health and wellbeing workshops, and much more!
CCS, is one of the largest providers of public sector library and cultural services in the UK. At such a critical juncture for libraries CCS positively presents the value of public libraries to the community, the range and breadth of activity which takes place within them from learning to leisure, celebrates literacy campaigns and promotes a love of reading across multiple west London boroughs as well as champion and support a wider creative and cultural agenda.
