Cumberland Lodge is an educational charity with the vision of more peaceful, tolerant and inclusive societies. We tackle social divisions by equipping and inspiring people to engage in constructive dialogue on issues of social cohesion.
We foster learning and creative thinking through: subsidised study retreats for students in higher education; conferences and seminars with leading figures from public life; mentoring schemes and scholarships for early career researchers and future leaders; educational outreach in schools; and educational and cultural events for our local community in and around Windsor.
Cumberland Lodge itself is a 17th century, former royal residence and its facilities are available to hire throughout the year for residential and non-residential conferences, meetings and special events. We also offer self-catering lets for holidays and leisure breaks, including self-contained family flats on site. Our venue hire activities help to support our charitable and educational work.
