Data Education in Schools

The Data Education in Schools project is developing an interdisciplinary data education curriculum with engaging real world data science teaching materials for teachers. Data Education in Schools is part of a wider programme to develop data driven innovation across the City of Edinburgh, East Lothian, Midlothian, West Lothian, Fife and Scottish Borders local authorities, with the ambition of making Edinburgh the data captial of Europe. Partners include the Edinburgh, Napier and Heriot Watt universities as well as further education colleges, business patners and local authorities. Find out more about the Data Education in Schools project at https://www.de.ed.ac.uk/project/data-education-schools.  Find out more about the Data Driven Innovation initiative at https://ddi.ac.uk

 

Information about you: how we use it and with whom we share it.  We will use your personal data to allow us to process your registration, communicate with you and obtain your feedback about our events. We are processing the information about you for these purposes because by registering for this event, you are entering into a contractual agreement for us to do so.   In order to facilitate online bookings for our events, we use Eventbrite - a third party service which is not operated by the University of Edinburgh.
