David Wright

David is the Programme Leader for Counselling Studies at the University Centre Grimsby, He has a Masters Degree in Interdisciplinary Psychology and a BA Honours in Counselling Studies, as well as a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. He is a Practicing Counsellor, registered with the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP), with a keen interest in trauma, spirituality, mindfulness and all mental health Issues. Prior to becoming a Lecturer and Counsellor, David served in the Armed Forces for 22 years, operating in Iraq, Afghanistan and Northern Ireland.
