Denise Roberts

Denise Roberts has a talent and passion for working with words and can inspire anyone both to start writing and to write better. She launched The Editor's Chair in 2008 and The Book Gym in 2020 to help those who want to write and get published.

She offers...

  • Book development, proofing, editing and publishing support
  • Training workshops on planning, structuring and writing a book
  • Book coaching to walk authors through the entire process

In 2020, Denise launched out as an agent and advocate for undiscovered and unexpressed voices who deserve to be published.

Her premise is that the way we live, work and share information creates overload and constant distraction. If we are going to write the type of books or material that positively impacts we must write them well. The problem is that few of us have been taught how much our writing identity impacts our writing voice or skill. Consequently, we often struggle to start the books we want, finish the books we begin, or to write the books we do as well as we potentially could.

----

Denise says, "My aim is to help authors restore their writing identity and release their writing voice so they can write with greater confidence, originality and flair."
