Dimbleby Cancer Care

Dimbleby Cancer Care was established in 1966 following the death of Broadcaster Richard Dimbleby of testicular cancer the year before. For 50 years the charity has been at the forefront of pioneering cancer care, notably through it's Information and Support Servces at Guy's and St Thomas' hospital which provide practical and emotional support to people living with cancer, their families and carers, and through it's unique research fund which funds national projects into the care and support needs of those affected by cancer.

In 2014 the charity launched a 2 year £500,000 Care For The Future fundraising appeal to co-incide with the opening of the new Guy's Cancer Centre in the autumn of 2016.

The charity relies solely on public donations, fundraising and legacies to continue its work.
