Disclosure Scotland manages the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme

We offer 4 main workshops that are regularly held across Scotland:

PVG Eligibility (2.5 Hours)

This session gives those involved in recruitment and/or counter signatories the opportunity to learn about the purpose of the PVG scheme, available Disclosure Types and when to use them.

Duty to Refer (2.5 Hours)

This session gives counter signatories and those involved in disciplinary matters the opportunity to learn about the PVG referral process, employers' obligations around referrals and the 'Consideration' process.

Registered Body Workshop (Full Day)

A full day programme targeted towards new counter signatories or existing ones who require a refresher. It incorporates both PVG Eligibility and Duty to Refer workshops.

Scotland Works For You (Full Day)

This training is designed to provide employers with a structured approach to making defensible, risk based decisions whilst ensuring fair opportunity is given to job applicants with past convictions.

Refreshment and lunch are provided. (Full Day workshops only)

These sessions can also be tailored to your organisation's needs and delivered onsite if you have several colleagues who would like to attend.
