Imagine a place where you can go to feel safe. To feel like you can be yourself. That’s the goal of Dorothys. We are an LGBTQ+ bar – in fact this bar has been there for the community for decades and could even be the oldest gay venue in the Netherlands now!

We see ourselves as guardians of this legacy and want to keep it that way. We welcome anyone, as long as they respect the bar and its patrons. In fact, we regularly see people from all parts of the community: gay, lesbian, bi, trans, and many more. We even host straight customers from time to time - We hold weekly events usually based around DragQueens and performers in our brown bar, also bingo and quizes. And we welcome everyone as long as you are respectful of each other
