Dr Clare Gerada

Dr Clare Gerada is the Medical Director of the NHS Practitioner Health Programme. As well as working as a Lambeth GP and running the service for doctors with mental health and addiction problems, Clare has been actively campaigning for a healthier NHS for all staff who work within it.  

The NHS Practitioner Health Programme (PHP) is an award winning, free and confidential service for doctors and dentists with issues relating to a mental or physical health concern or addiction problem, in particular where these might affect their work.
