Drawing Projects UK
Drawing Projects UK was created in 2009 by Anita Taylor to develop and promote research initiatives in drawing, including the Jerwood Drawing Prize project, now known as the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize. In 2015, in partnership with international curator and former musuems director Gary Sangster, the remit of Drawing Projects UK expanded to establish a Centre for Drawing & Contemporary Arts in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, presents curated exhibitions, events, and opportunities to create, discuss and see drawings and contemporary art. With a project space, exhibition spaces, workspaces for artists, designers, creative and cultural enterprises, bookable meeting rooms and a cafe on site, Drawing Projects UK is a unique creative and cultural hub, and is conveniently located adjacent to Trowbridge railway station. Drawing Projects UK deliver a range of on and off-site projects, nationally and internationally.
