East Midlands Policing Academic Collaboration (EMPAC)

The East Midlands Policing Academic Collaboration (EMPAC), funded by the College of Policing (CoP) and the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), will combine the best of academic expertise and a ‘what works’ evidence base to create a dynamic and exciting multilateral partnership that has a tangible impact on policing in the East Midlands and beyond.

EMPAC is comprised of five police forces, five Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs) and seven universities in the region and seeks to address following objectives:
