Eating Disorder Awareness Week 2019

To mark National Eating Disorders Awareness week, Bournemouth University, Students' Union Bournemouth University and Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust is hosting a series of events on the 25-28 February 2019.

Monday 25 February 
Title: Me and my best friend anorexia
Speaker: Hope Virgo

Venue: EB708, Excecutive Business Centre, Lansdowne Campus
Time: 9.30-10.30

Venue: Shelley Lecture Theatre, Poole House, Talbot Campus
Time: 12.30-13.30


Wednesday 27 February
Title: Practical Strategies for Supporting Students with Eating Disorders
Speaker:  Dr Pooky Knightsmith
Venue: EB206, Executive Business Centre, Lansdowne Campus
Time: 10.30-11.30


Title: Anorexia and Autism - lessons learned on the road to recovery
Speaker: Dr Pooky Knightsmith
Time: 13.45-14.45
Venue: Inspire Lecture Theatre, Talbot Campus


All events will be held at the Talbot and Lansdowne Campuses and are open to BU students, staff and the wider community. We hope the range of events will raise students, staff and the public awareness of eating disorders.
