EcoStim develops and evaluates complex biostimulant formulations for agricultural use. They are not fertilisers, as they work by influencing the metabolic processes and energy levels of plants and, unlike fertilisers they do not get incorporated into plant structures.

We as a company strive to work alongside agricultural growers providing them with the knowledge of how and why Biostimulants can be so effective for them. We listen to their concerns and research the issues that they are currently experiencing. Our aim is to address those areas by developing proprietary products. We then carry on initial field testing together with our clients to ensure the product is right for them. We also engage with the relevant industry bodies to be compliant with local regulation.

We believe that Biostimulants are an important addition for the future of sustainable farming. There is great pressure on agriculture to feed burgeoning populations, but environmental changes, water shortages and pathogen attacks take a heavy toll on crop quality and yields. Genetic modification may offer technical solutions to some of these problems but environmental and ethical objections remain major hurdles, as do the costs and controls levied by the large agro-chemical companies.
