Her art gets inspiration from the self, society, and nature with influences of eastern miniature art and calligraphy. Spontaneity is her way of emphasising the randomness of life. Esra uses water-based media in her paintings and intaglio techniques in her prints. Uses multiple layers to create depth and emphasise the details. Esra’s latest works are mostly related to migration, globalisation and spirituality. Located in Make Space Studios, London, Waterloo since 2017.
