Eloise Reed

Eloise is a somatic coach and trauma-informed facilitator with nearly 30 years of experience in social work direct practice and leadership. After experiencing burnout and long-COVID, she discovered the importance of nervous system regulation and body-based healing practices.

Her personal journey from exhaustion to sustainable engagement taught her how to listen to her body's signals and create healthier life and work rhythms. She now uses this experience to support other changemakers, leaders, and organisations in strengthening their capacity for long-term social justice work.

Eloise combines somatic practices with anti-oppression frameworks, trauma-informed approaches, polyvagal theory, and internal family systems. Her work helps individuals and groups develop the nervous system tools they need to stay engaged in their important work without burning out.

Central to her approach is the understanding that healing happens in relationship and community. She creates spaces where people can be witnessed in their experiences, knowing that being seen and held by others is essential for both personal regulation and collective strength.

She believes that taking care of ourselves and regulating our nervous systems isn't just self-care—it's essential for creating sustainable social change. And that we heal together, not in isolation.
