Certified ANFT Nature and Forest therapy Guide and Expressive artist


Emma has over 25 years experience as an artist and craftswoman in a diverse range of fields and mediums. She has applied this experience and a training in Person-centred art therapy since 2001 to individuals and group settings.

She is a member of the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and programs. Working to reconnect indviduals to community with Nature. Remembering our lost heritage and the wisdoms of our natural home.

 In the last 6yrs she has taken her creative practice outside offering guided walks in Nature incorporating the practice of Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing) with invitations to create pieces of ephemeral art, creative writing and authentic ritual. She has led sessions for the Woodland Trust in Fingle woods, Devon and as part of the well-being program for Dartington Hall Trust.

She was an activity provider for the Naturally Healthy project. An action and research project by Public Health England and Dartmoor National Park Authority to assess the benefits and explore delivery methods of a green prescription for people with low mental and physical well-being in the Buckfastleigh area.

Currently she offers regular nature and forest therapy walks on the Dartington hall estate and across the South Hams.
