Endometriosis Association of Ireland

The Endometriosis Association of Ireland represents those afected by endometriosis and adenomyosis. 1 in 10 women (also trans males and rare cis males) live with endometriosis. It is one of the leading causes of infertility and is characterised by pain, fatigue and often debilitating symptoms. 

In Ireland, there is an average 9 year delay to diagnosis. Many women are misdiagnosed. 

Endometriosis symtoms include:

Pelvic Pain - may be all month long, but worse at period time

Pain during or after sexual activity

Pain with bowel movements

Pain with urination 

Blood in stool/urine

Shoulder tip pain

Fatigue

Infertility
