Mo Ali

Co-founder and Director of EQ Traders

Mo is a an experienced entrepreneur and CEO of many startups, both in finance and retail. Mo graduated from University College London and the London School of Economics.  He began his career working for the largest firms primarily consultancies leading on projects of significant size worldwide.  Mo's management expertise and his ability to lead companies both big and small are ideally suited to lead EQ Traders to achieve it's vision of revolutionising Forex training.Mo has a specialism in computing and management, and has worked for the largest Tier 1 banks including Deutsche Bank and RBS. Recently he worked as a specialist consultant for Tullett Prebon, ICAP, and BBVA.He has built and supported the most complex trading platforms, requiring a deep knowledge of the financial markets and technology.  He helped build platforms from the ground up, understanding the complexity of trading algorithms and trading patterns.This specialist knowledge is brought to the fore in EQ Traders, where Mo assists in two key areas including algorithm development, creating trading signals for our private tradering group, and backtesting techniques.   Any trader will tell you one key element of success is being able to back test your technique using historic data tested over many years.  At EQ Traders we invest significant resources in supporting our trader community which makes us unique in the marketplace.
