Fiona Hermse Artist Jeweller

Award winning Artist, Jeweller and Community Artist Fiona Hermse was brought up in rural Aberdeenshire. She studied 3 Dimensional Design at Gray's School of Art in 2007 before completing a Masters Degree in 2009 at the renowned Birmingham School of Jewellery. She now lives and works in East Lothian, close to the historic city of Edinburgh.

She has a studio at Cockenzie House & Gardens where she designs and creates her work by hand, often undertaking private commissions. Traditional textile and other craft techniques as well as installation, drawing and painting are key elements of her practice.  She has a particular interest in difficult to reach audiences, she undertakes artist led community projects for charities and individuals.
