In 2026 and 2027 FUTURES: A Festival of Discovery is once again bringing research to life across Bath and Bristol and online, as part of European Researchers’ Night, funded by the European Commission.

Events will be taking place in the West of England across venues in Bath, Bristol, and online, this autumn.

Now in our 9th year, FUTURES brings science and research to life in new and exciting ways. There are be plenty of ways to get involved, we’ll be bringing you late night opening of museums, hands-on activities, exhibitions, storytelling, walks, talks, radio shows and much more!

Some events are ticketed, some are drop in and all are completely FREE.
