My name is Gianni Crow. I am a Maya K’iche, an Ajq’ij (Daykeeper). A Daykeeper is a ceremonial priest who helps to bring balance to the Earth by working with the Mayan calendar. An Ajq’ij helps others walk their path in this life through divination and ceremonial healing. As the fourth generation in my family to walk the Red Road, I was initiated into these traditions and teachings from the very beginning of my life. My mother, while pregnant with me, traveled to sacred shrines throughout the highlands of Quauhtlemallan. At these shrines prayers and ceremonies were made specific to my life path. Through initiation and training by many different elders in Quauhtlemallan, I was named a ceremonial priest and a healer. Here in North America, I furthered my spiritual growth with elders, through traditional means such as vision quests and sweat lodge ceremonies.
My abilities include spiritual coaching, motivational, cultural and spiritual workshops where participants learn to focus, strengthen awareness, and become centered in their emotional and thought processes. I use story telling and my training as a Daykeeper to bring hope and balance to those seeking this outcome.
