Global Tech Africa
The Global Tech Africa (GTA) is a project that brings together all critical stakeholders in Africa’s technology ecosystem to explore opportunities in the Continent’s potential to harness technology for growth and development.
Following the recent launch of Nigeria’s Start-up Act – a strategic plan to position Nigeria for the fourth industrial revolution, GTA was conceived as an initiative that will key into the opportunities that will be created in the ecosystem. In addition to having meaningful and impactful conversations with clear, actionable plans; the project will run several capacity development programs for multiple sectors, facilitate policy formulation, collaboration, partnerships, networking and unearth investment opportunities.
The inaugural GTA is supported by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), and designed and implemented by Ascend Studios Foundation. The conference’s structure includes plenary sessions, breakout sessions, pitch competitions, exhibitions, sideline networking, and cocktail sessions.
