DramEd was founded in 2013 by Grace Willis. A mother and professional actress, having recently worked for The Royal Shakespeare Company and The National Theatre and graduating with a Ba Honours degree in Performing Arts, Grace wanted to draw on her skills to support learning in a number of learning environments.
Observing first hand the way the skills she drew upon, built confidence, supported learning, nurtured creativity and helped overcome communication barriers in her groups, Graceʼs aim became to specially develop workshops and courses which do just this for children and babies.
Grace has a valid DBS Certificate and is currently training in Makaton (“a language programme using signs and symbols to help people to comunicate.” Makaton.org) which is extended to all DramEd teachers.
Grace also runs Empowerwhine, a dance-fitness class for Women. For more information on Empowerwhine visit www.empowerwhine.com
